Structured Light Lasers
ProPhotonix manufactures three models of Structured Light Lasers:
3D PRO™ Laser, 3D PRO™ Adjustable Focus Laser and 3D PRO™ Laser Mini. The 3D PRO™ Lasers have been designed specifically for the demanding
requirements of machine vision applications. The laser modules have a
compact cylindrical form factor based on industry standard dimensions
for easy integration into existing applications. The 3D PRO™ Laser is
19mm in diameter and 3D PRO™ Laser mini is only 10mm in diameter. This make the 3D PRO™ compatible with the majority of existing Machine
The laser is available with a customer-specified fixed

Structured Laser Light (SLL) is a technique for projecting a known
pattern of pixels (singular line, horizontal lines, crosshair, grid)
onto an object. The way that these deform when striking surfaces allows
vision systems to calculate the depth and surface information of the
objects. The speed of data capture is the primary advantage of
structured light scanners as they record multiple points at the same
time and in the machine vision industry they are ideal for high-speed
inspection or 3D measurements.
Structured Light Lasers - Green
The 3D PRO™ series of structured light lasers is also now available in green.
This direct emission, 520nm laser diode module retains the compact form
factor of the 3D PRO™ series.
Why Use Green?
The human eye is most sensitive to green light. In applications, this
means that it is possible to use lower power devices, achieving the same
visibility whilst reducing power consumption. The 3D PRO™ Laser Green series has been designed specifically for the demanding requirements of
machine vision applications.
The green 3D is a 520nm direct emission laser diode module laser.
Each of the range offer excellent uniformity and line width of Line
width of 30μm at 120mm.
